Halloween Get Away

What a great weekend we got. Our family had an outing at a resort in Talicud Island Samal. We woke up early in the morning and jump off heading to Sta.Ana wharf where there is a boat bound to that island. Many Island goers too are present at the wharf also waiting for the boat. Families, group of friends, office mates are among those I saw that are out to have fun in the island. When we arrived at the resort, the first thing I noticed was the clean white sand and its pristine waters. Right then I wanted to jump off the boat, dip and join the colorful fishes that welcomes us.

 

We had our lunch at the beach front, it was so relaxing watching and hearing the water while eating sumptuous sea foods under the coconut trees. The resort staffs are so kind and hospitable. They prepared our food and the rooms where we will be staying. Resort fees and charges were so reasonable not to mention the freebies they gave us on our stay. If I'll be having a visitor or maybe the next time we'll be having a long holidays, I'd love to visit the same resort again.

Daughter Dj

My daughter is just 8 yrs old, but just yesterday I wondered what just came to her mind. While we are at the mall, she asked me to look for a store that sells a Mackie dj mixers because she wanted to see an actual unit of it. And yes, we found a store that sells several kinds of audio equipments. My hubby was also busy trying some demo units of different kinds of audio equipment. I asked my daughter why she's interested in audio mixers, she told me that she saw a female dj at a party in their school and she was amazed and entertained while she's watching the dj perform. Since that time, she became interested in audio equipment especially those audio mixers.

Cooking Workshop

It has been a wonderful experience. I learned a lot about cooking techniques at the advanced cooking workshop initiated by the community leaders here in our village. Chef from a well known hotel here in our town conducted the workshop. Each participant had a chance to a one on one hands on demo using the new kitchen tools introduced by the chef. And while the workshop is ongoing, every one of us has an exercise related to what he is teaching us. At the end of our one day workshop, all got a certificate of attendance. It was indeed a successful event.

Surface Cleaning

Me and my house helper had an argument yesterday, I told her to clean our restroom but when I checked it after she cleaned It I was disappointed. It was not done well. She keeps on blaming the soap that she used was not effective in removing stains. I asked my mother-in-law about any idea about effective solution on cleaning things and surfaces. She suggested me to try hydrogen peroxide cleaning. I tried to know more about it and learned that it can clean on almost any surface. It is more concentrated thus it cleans and removes stains more efficiently. And above all I learned that it’s also environmentally friendly. Now, I am using it and I will surely recommend it.

This morning, on my way to the wet market to buy our food supplies, I saw a group of ladies on their folding bikes. Most of them are physically fit as what I noticed based on their body. Now, I am considering on trying that new physical activity that will surely benefit my body. My only problem is who will join me. On that kind of activity, it is more fun when you travel in a group. Maybe I should invite my cousins to join me and we will by our gear together. I hope this won’t be an expensive hobby to have.
